Sunrise Group Inaugurates 1st Egyptian Hotel in Africa ‘Kwanza Resort’

Hossam El Shaer: We Support State’s Efforts for African Cooperation and Stay Tuned for Tourism Investments in Africa.
Tanzania’s president Samia Suluhu Hassan inaugurated the Kwanza Resort, which was established by the Egyptian SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises, in Zanzibar.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hossam El Shaer, Head of SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises, Tanzania’s president, Prime Minister of Tanzania and a number of ministers.
On her part, Tanzania president praised the Kwanza Resort as she considered it as one of the most luxurious and beautiful hotels in Zanzibar region.
Suluhu thanked El Shaer for his interest in investing in Tanzania and, calling upon him to expand the investments of the Sunrise Group in Tanzania, as she promised to provide all the facilities required for this expansion.
Meanwhile, El Shaer said he is pleased with opening the Group’s 1st resort in Zanzibar, stressing that the Sunrise Group’s interest in investing in Tanzania comes within the direction of the Egyptian state, as well as the Group’s role in building bridges of cooperation with African countries in all fields, especially investment.
He added that this hotel is just a start for the SUNRISE to enter the African Tourism Market, which has several tourist attraction factors.
The chairman of Sunrise Resorts & Cruises hailed the facilities provided by the Tanzanian government to establish Kwanza, and promised to expand the establishment of tourism projects in Tanzania, especially Zanzibar region.
All the participants in the inauguration ceremony expressed their great admiration for the distinguished hotel capabilities of the “Kwanza Resort,”stressing that it will make a quantum leap for Tanzanian tourism.
Kwanza is located in Zanzibar near the small fishing village of Kizimkazi on the southwestern part of the Island.
Kwanza is designed to provide a thorough experience combining an astounding man-made interior amidst the extensive naturalistic surroundings.
