Jumia, the leading ecommerce platform in Egypt and Africa, has announced the appointment of Hisham ElGabry as the company’s new CEO in Egypt to take charge of the company’s business leadership in the country.
ElGabry has been leading the company’s commercial team as Jumia Egypt’s Chief Commercial Office (CCO) since 2022.

ElGabry carries 17 years of experience in the ecommerce and communication fields. Before joining Jumia, he was part of Amazon EU where he held several leadership positions including leading the UK fashion marketplace. Prior to that, Hisham has also worked with Vodafone Group, managing global relationships with Apple and Samsung across 17 countries.
