Under its global slogan “Life’s Good,” and as part of its ongoing partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation, LG Egypt has launched a new phase of its flagship CSR campaign “Better Home,” which aims to support the most deserving families, provide them with a dignified living environment, and improve housing conditions across Egypt.
This phase of the initiative focuses on supporting six of the most deserving families in Al-Hammam, Matrouh Governorate, by providing six top-load washing machines and six smart TVs. These contributions are intended to create a more comfortable and stable living environment for the beneficiary families, enhancing their day-to-day quality of life.
LG Egypt’s contribution went beyond simply donating appliances – the company’s teams and after-sales service staff also handled the installation of all donated appliances in the families’ homes. This ensured ease of use and reflected LG’s commitment to delivering a complete and seamless experience for the recipients.
This initiative forms part of Misr El Kheir’s Housing Improvement Program, which focuses on social and engineering interventions to improve homes in the most deserving villages and areas across Egypt. The program’s activities include house renovations, reconstructions, and the provision of basic needs, all in line with established procedural criteria.
This in-kind donation aligns with LG Egypt’s strategy of bringing its slogan “Life’s Good” to life. The company continuously provides both financial and moral support to the most deserving segments of society in partnership with Misr El Kheir, contributing to the efficiency of its programs and fostering sustainable community development.
Mohamed El Gedawy, Marketing & Public Relations Manager at LG Egypt, emphasized that LG’s commitment extends beyond offering cutting-edge technological innovations to include playing an active role as a true partner in the Egyptian community. “The launch of the ‘Better Home’ initiative underscores LG’s commitment to its global slogan ‘Life’s Good’ by helping improve living conditions for families in underserved areas,” he said.
Similarly, Eng. Ahmed Youssef, Senior Director of the Direct Aid Program at Misr El Kheir Foundation, highlighted the foundation’s dedication to serving deserving individuals throughout the year. “Misr El Kheir is committed to supporting those in need in every governorate in Egypt. We are delighted to collaborate once again with LG, with whom we have a longstanding partnership across multiple sectors, and we look forward to continuing this fruitful cooperation,” Youssef said.
