In line with its commitment to fostering collaboration among all stakeholders and addressing industry needs, the organizing committee of the FDC Summit, the regional platform for the digital industry, announced the launch of its first event, the FDC Roundtable. The event witnessed wide participation from over 120 speakers representing key sectors. This initiative is part of the FDC Summit’s efforts to strengthen partnerships between the public and private sectors and civil society institutions, providing an effective platform for dialogue. The Roundtable brought together experts, decision-makers, investors, entrepreneurs, and representatives from local and global companies to exchange ideas, share expertise, and build strategic partnerships that support economic development and drive digital transformation across all fields.

It is worth noting that the first edition of the FDC Roundtable featured panel discussions covering four key sectors. The PropTech session explored the latest innovations and challenges facing this vital sector, with a focus on resource sustainability and addressing digital environmental risks. Another session on the future of the data center industry highlighted recent developments and the importance of strengthening digital infrastructure to support Egypt’s digital transformation.
The third session addressed innovation mechanisms in government institutions, emphasizing the role of innovation in enhancing the efficiency of public services and effectively meeting citizens’ needs. The fourth session shed light on the critical role of the regulatory environment in supporting entrepreneurs and fostering a culture of innovation, ultimately contributing to driving Egypt’s economic growth.
