Ericsson Egypt welcomed His Excellency Mr. Dag Juhlin Dannfelt, Ambassador of Sweden to Egypt, to discuss Ericsson’s enduring contribution to Egypt’s telecommunications ecosystem and technological landscape.
During the visit, Ambassador Mr. Dag Juhlin Dannfelt met with Dalia Merheb, Country Manager and Head of Sales of Ericsson Egypt, along with senior Ericsson leaders, for a discussion on the company’s strategic focus, business priorities, and technological partnerships in the country, that align with Egypt Vision 2030.
The visit underscored Ericsson’s commitment to innovation in Egypt and its support to its partners, stakeholders, operators and the government’s initiatives as Egypt advances its 5G rollout and broader digital infrastructure goals. During the visit, the Ambassador toured Ericsson Egypt’s office and interacted with teams across various functions, acknowledging the strong Sweden-Egypt partnership and Ericsson’s ongoing role in Egypt’s telecommunications development.
This visit further reinforces the Embassy’s continuous support for Ericsson. With over 128 years of successful presence in Egypt, Ericsson remains dedicated to driving the country’s digital transformation, the introduction of 5G services, and fostering technological innovation nationwide.
