LG, the leading company in air solutions, has announced the start of manufacturing home air conditioning devices locally for the first time in Egypt and with international standards, an announcement that comes in line with the Egyptian government’s direction to encourage local manufacturing of home appliances in Egypt.
The expansion of LG’s local production line comes within the framework of the company’s belief in the importance of the Egyptian market as one of the most promising markets in the region, and an affirmation of the company’s commitment to exert its efforts towards supporting local manufacturing and strengthening the Egyptian economy. With LG’s “New Hero” air conditioner being produced with 60 local components, leading to a price reduction that goes up to 15%.
The local manufacturing of LG home air conditioners aims to meet the needs of the local market with the production of 100,000 units of the “New Hero” air conditioners within 3 years, aiming to meet the growing demand in the Egyptian market, alongside with exploring the opportunity of exporting to some of the regional markets.
LG offers the Egyptian market its latest technological solutions manufactured locally through “New Hero” home air conditioners that come in elegant and modern designs, in addition to a number of cutting edge features, including the T3 Technology, which is responsible for providing stable operation of the air conditioner even at extreme temperature, The Blue Fin, which is a blue coating on the fin of heat exchanger that reduces corrosion and offers protection against environmental factors, increasing the life time of the unit. That’s in addition to the Auto Clean feature and Auto Restart Operation that works to resume the unit’s operation in the event of a power outage shortly after power is restored.
Moreover, the new local Air Conditioner form is backed by a Fast Cooling and Heating mood, special Baby Care feature and an Auto Swing that is responsible for distributing the comfort air evenly across the room, sleep mode, and a 24-hour on and off timer.
